K8ZUA Repeater Now has EchoLink!

Connect to the 146.895 Repeater anywhere you have Internet!

For EchoLink (Computer) Users:

1.Log onto EchoLink.
2. Search for K8ZUA-R or Node Number 347657.
3. Add it to your Favorites list.
4. Connect to the Repeater by clicking on K8ZUA-R.
5. Remember not to transmit more than 3 minutes at one time.
6. Remember to give your ID (call) at least every 10 minutes.


For Mobile (Radio) Users:

1. To connect to an EchoLink User (computer) use your DTMF keypad.

2. While transmitting on the 146.895 Repeater, dial # and the Node number of the User you want to call. For example, to call Jim Dennett, K8ZUA, dial #4983.

3. When you unkey, you should hear "Connecting to K8ZUA". If the connection is successful, you will hear "Connected to K8ZUA". If Jim is not on line you will hear "Unable to find K8ZUA" or "Time Out".

4. Once connected, conduct your traffic as usual. The computer user will transmit to you from his/her computer, and you use your radio as normal. Remember to ID at least every 10 minutes and to keep your transmissions to under 3 minutes at a time!

5. To DISCONNECT dial two pound signs. (# then #).
The repeater should then say "Disconnected".
